LOCAL 2544 News  DAY ELEVEN SEPTEMBER 22, 20059/22/2005The day was spent dealing with some very difficult issues. The Company thus far has shown no willingness to move off proposals that would cease accrual of benefits in the Pension Plan. The Company continues to ask for the employees to pay more for less medical coverage. The Union committee has continued to stress to the Company that an agreement could not be reached unless the Company abandoned any such concessions. [2005][LL2544].All Rights Reserved. |
