LOCAL 2544 News  DAY TEN SEPTEMBER 21,20059/22/2005The Union And Company committees met day ten to discuss outstanding non-economic proposals and all economic proposals. There was some movement on economic proposals today. There still are some very difficult proposals that the Company is interested in such as: ***Ceasing accrual in the Pension Plan. ***Employees paying the full cost of the medical plan. ***Less vacation for employees with 20 years of service. The Committee has consistently relayed the message of the members, that the type of economic changes they are looking for are simply unacceptable. [2005][LL2544].All Rights Reserved. |
